For eleven years I have traveled with my friends and bandmates in Blitzen Trapper and now the time has come for our roads to take different directions. I want to thank them and the fans for making my time with the band memorable and dear to me. I will carry those precious memories for a lifetime.

michael this is major news & im surprised no one else has commented yet tho i saw the pic posted without him. he will be missed & hopefully hes left on good terms.
Perhaps suggests a more streamlined sound in the future - more guitars, less keys ?
Or just more room in the van..
